Dear Sprague/Hunnewell,
This week we hosted a Sprague/Hunnewell assembly focused on our community goals centered around our Sprague HEART values and the Hunnewell CARE values. We presented a hallway challenge to all of the students. The challenge exemplifies community. Students are working to “get caught” in the hallway demonstrating our HEART/CARE values:
- H is for Helping = Stay to the Right to Help Others Pass
-
E is for Effort for Excellence = Whisper Voices
-
A is for Accept and Appreciate Differences = Provide Quiet and Respectful Reminders When Necessary
-
R is Respect = Respect Personal Space and Learning Environments
-
T is for Teamwork = Walking, Whisper Voices
If you happen to be in the building visiting, and “catch” a class demonstrating the above community values, please, please recognize that class by dropping a card in the Sprague/Hunnewell heart located in the main lobby. Our heart is quickly growing!
SBRCs are officially home sent through the PowerSchool Portal (please see access directions below). Congratulations to all Sprague/Hunnewell students for demonstrating progress on set goals and objectives! It is perfectly acceptable, and frankly expected, to have areas that require extra focus and attention. That defines school.
Thank you for the home/school connection!
