Dear Sprague/PAWS,

On behalf of Sprague, we wish all our students and their families a joyous, safe, and happy holiday next week.  Please enjoy the time with family and friends, rest and relax as the long weekend is earned and deserved by all!

No School – Professional Development Day

  • Monday, December 2nd – No School

  • This is a Professional Development Day for staff

  • School resumes on Tuesday, December 3rd

 

Book Fair

  • Liz Cheron and Hadley Stephens knocked it out of the park as Book Fair co-chairs!

  • As a team, along with the support of the PTO, Liz and Hadley brought in a new book company and as a result, many new titles and choices

  • Thank you to the many, many parent volunteers who ensured the register flowed, students were supported, and shelves were stocked

  • Also, thank you to the Sprague CARES team for ensuring students received a book and families were supported

  • Finally, thank you to the staff as we tried a new model this year and it proved successful

  • Well-done!

 

Sprague Fun Run/Walk – 2nd Annual – Two Ways to Give Back in November

  • Wednesday, March 27th – Fun Run!
  • To support the Fun Run, students are invited to participate in a toy drive next week in support of Kids-Backing-Kids, a local organization

  • Donations will be collected curbside at carline during drop-off from Monday, November 25th through Wednesday, November 27th, or you can bring your donation to the bin inside the main entrance

  • Can you help us collect 150 toys for Kids-Backing-Kids?

Guidelines for toy donations:

  • Toys must be new

  • In the original packaging

  • Gifts can be small ($5), medium ($10-$15), or bigger ($20+)

Sprague’s 100th Birthday Celebration

  • Happy Birthday, Sprague!

  • In September, Sprague celebrated 100 years!

  • In honor of that amazing milestone, please mark you calendars for Friday, December 13th at 8:45 am

  • We will be hosting an All-School Assembly to honor, celebrate, and recognize all of Sprague’s growth and changes over the decades

 

Winter Concert

  • Thursday, December 19th

  • 9:00 am

  • Sprague gym

  • Grade 5 chorus and the Sprague band and orchestra will perform in the annual Winter Concert

  • All are welcomed and invited!
