Dear Sprague/PAWS,

Welcome back!  It was great to see everyone.

Congratulations to our third grade students as they hosted the all-school meeting held on Wednesday.  The third graders not only had the important job of introducing the “A – Acceptance” in HEART, but each also performed a beautiful rendition of This Little Heart of Mine to support and provide an example of acceptance.  Bravo!

Sprague School was randomly selected to participate in NAEP, National Assessment of Educational Progress, testing for nine year old students (3rd and 4th graders).  With the NAEP administrators, approximately 40 of our nine year old students completed either a reading or math assessment on Friday.  Each student worked hard, put their best effort forward, and did their absolute best.  This is all we ever ask for.  Well-done, 3rd and 4th graders!
