• Description: The Wellesley Historical Society aims to create a learning space for those wanting to learn more about the nature of their town and its surroundings. In our weekly meetings, we will discuss the history behind specific locations such as town parks and forests, and learn how it has become what it is today. We plan to prioritize the collaboration of the students, allowing them to participate and choose what we research each week to keep the club inclusive and interesting to everyone. We will work to combine both the details of history and the personal, relatable connection to the nature that we walk through each day.
