Fiske Families,

The entire Fiske staff sends thanks to all the PTO families who played a part in the Fiske Staff Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday. From the pretty pumpkin flower arrangements to the delicious desserts, the staff felt fully nourished and appreciated.

We would also like to thank all the Fiske Families who shared their Diwali customs and traditions with us in an incredible feast this Friday. It gave us all an opportunity to enjoy the festival of lights . Thank you all so much.

Today the Fiske students and teachers were pleased to host a visiting group of educators from the Philippines. These educators were welcomed to experience a day in the life of Fiske teachers and students. Our Student Council members provided these educators with a tour of our school. The educators greatly enjoyed their visit and were truly impressed with our student tour guides.

Halloween Parade

Parents, guardians and friends, we are excited to have you join us for our annual Halloween Parade on Monday, October 31st at 9:00 a.m. We will be hosting the parade on our new route around the Fiske playground fields. Fiske’s Student Council members will be leading the parade. Students may wear a costume and walk with their class in a large circular path around the fields. We will have a special section of the field setup for you to be able to see all the children.

Please be aware that students should refrain from wearing masks, face paint or makeup and leave all props at home.

Please inform your child’s classroom teacher if your child will not be participating in the parade. Ms. Verret & Mrs. Allen will be hosting students in the library and making a fun Fall craft.
