If you can believe it, we had lunch outside on Tuesday because it was 41 degrees. Any chance we get to eat outside we take. Please make sure your child has something to sit on when seating outside.
Thank you to the Lief Family for providing teacher snacks for the snack cart. We appreciate your generosity and thoughtfulness.
Snow, snow and more snow!
Today at school there was a lot of excitement about the Saturday snow! With snow comes snowshoeing at Fiske. A huge thank you to the Fiske PTO Grant Committee for funding Mrs. Gerst’s request for snowshoes. The fun begins on Tuesday so please read the attached letter to know the classes that will begin with the program and what outerwear is needed.

Speaking of snow, on Monday there will be A LOT of snow to play with during recess. All students K-5 MUST have a winter jacket, mittens/gloves, snow pants and boots to play in the snow. Children who do not bring these items to school will play on the paved areas on the playgrounds. Please let our school social worker Michelle DeSantis (desantism@wellesleyps.org) know If your child needs any of these items and we will be sure to provide your child/children with the necessary outerwear.
Carline
It is a true delight to greet our Fiske Falcons each morning at the carline. Recently, I have noticed that several cars arrive after the 8:30 a.m. bell. School begins at 8:30 a.m. Children who are not in the building at 8:30a.m. will be late for class. Being late can be disruptive to the class and learning environment.
Walk to School Day
On Wednesday, February 2nd we are hoping to host our first Walk to School Day of the year. We will be watching the conditions of the sidewalks and updating families early next week.
