Hello Hardy Families:
Just a reminder that Lisa Goodman and I will be holding a parent book group on Wednesday December 7th from 6:30-7:30pm to discuss the book, The BigDisconnect, Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age by Catherine Steiner-Adair. I highly recommend this book for all parents and educators. Even if you don’t read the book you will be able to join in on the conversation so please join us.
Bus parents: I have been discussing bus safety with our students and I have received glowing reports from Mr. Zachary, our bus driver. We have some amazing grade 5 students who are being buddies to our kindergarten bus students. They are demonstrating incredible leadership and care, I am so proud of them. Please reinforce to your children to stay in their bus seats, keep their seat belt buckled and follow RISE. If you should hear of any situation on the bus please let me know. It is important that our children feel safe and enjoy their bus ride.
Congratulations to our second and third grade students for conducing the first of many Whole School Assemblies. It is wonderful to see and hear from our students about what they are learning.
I want to wish everyone a very happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy time with friends and family and don’t forget – students do not have school on Monday.
