Hello Hardy Families:
The end of the year is upon us, there are a lot of fun-filled end of year activities coming up.
I want to thank all of our families for being so kind and thoughtful throughout the year and during teacher appreciation week which was last week. The Hardy faculty appreciate your gestures of warmth and kindness and one way you share that is through the wonderful lunches and breakfast coffees you provide us. We have also enjoyed so many wonderful field trips and in-school cultural arts presentations through your generosity.
On May 22 we will have a STEM assembly to be held in the gym. To accommodate this assembly we will be holding a fun beach lunch which means your child will bring a beach towel on May 22 and we will all go outdoors to enjoy our lunch. We will be sure to address all of our special considerations for all of our students.
Student classroom assignments will be made available following the same process as last year. You will receive more detailed information about this at a later date but basically, parents will update their contact information on the parent portal and sign off on media permissions, medical updates, etc., and then you will receive the name of next year’s classroom teacher for your child.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the PTO for providing such a rich and full weekly communication to the Hardy community. The Hardy Headlines is such a wonderful parent and school resource to keep track of all of the family/school/PTO events. It takes a lot of attention and dedication to maintain such a newsletter, so thanks to those who contribute!
