Hello Hardy Families:
Thank you for attending the Hardy Back to School Night! It was wonderful seeing so many families visit our classrooms. A huge thank you to the grade 5 students for providing babysitting, this was a big help. We also had a large turnout for the HU building project information session held last Monday night. The panel of administrators, School Committee members and Town Selectman representative shared information about swing space and redistricting as well as addressing questions related to the HHU project.
Each year the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education recognizes schools for achievement on MCAS. There are three categories of recognition and last year Hardy was one of fifty-three schools recognized; Hardy was recognized for two of the three categories: Achievement and Exceeding Targets. For the second year in a row, Hardy, along with sixty-seven schools, was recognized for outstanding MCAS results in the areas of Achievement and Exceeding Targets. This is a result of the entire Hardy community of parents, teachers and supportive staff. Thank you, families, for helping our students experience success.
