Hello Hardy Families,

Hopefully everyone is continuing to feel excited about the start of school this year! I was greeted by a special “Welcome Mr. Smith” message on a message board in front of the school this past week. Thanks to the Hardy PTO for this thoughtful gesture and for your continued support!

As we begin our in person learning for our hybrid students later this week, there are a number of new procedures that are designed to promote the health & safety of our community. Please take the time to click on the links below and read through our revised procedures. Also please note all the headers that are labeled “NEW” to signify a change from past procedures. A special thanks goes out to all the Hardy faculty and staff members who served on focus groups that helped to plan these new procedures for our community.

Schedule this week for hybrid students:
Tuesday, September 29th – full day of remote learning for all students
Wednesday, September 30th – ½ day of remote learning for all students 
Thursday, October 1st– first day of in person learning for cohort A, remote learning for cohort B
Friday, October 2nd – first day of in person learning for cohort B, remote learning for cohort A

Save the Date: 
The Back to School Night for elementary hybrid classrooms is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21st. This will be a virtual event. Stay tuned for more information in upcoming Principal Letters.
