Highlight from the past week:
On Wednesday we had Back to School Night. It was great to see so many parents and guardians in attendance for this special event!

One Wellesley T-shirts
On Friday, students received special T-shirts that feature all seven of the Wellesley elementary schools with the message of One Wellesley. Across the district, students are encouraged to wear these to school on Wednesday.
Spirit Day
On Friday we will have our first School Spirit Day of the year. Students are encouraged to wear their Hardy gear or red and black colored clothing to school. Hunnewell 3rd graders are also invited to wear their Hawks gear and their blue and orange colored clothing to school.
Afternoon Car line reminder
During pick up, families are reminded to put the card with their child(ren)’s last name in their windshield during pick up. This helps staff to quickly match students to cars.
Parking lot reminder
As a reminder, the school parking lot is designated for staff only during arrival and dismissal times. With added staff this year, we have just enough parking spaces to accommodate staff members, so it’s very important parents are adhering to the rule that the parking is not used during arrival and dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation!
Attention 5th grade parents
On Friday, we will have our first All School Assembly led by our 5th graders. Parents are invited to the assembly, which will take place from 8:45-9:10 AM.
