Hello Hardy families,
*On Wednesday we had a Walk and Bike to School Day. Kudos to Fitness & Heath teacher Mr. Guzzi for planning this event for our students.
*On Wednesday we had a STEAM based assembly to kick off the Massachusetts STEAM Week, which is scheduled for this week. Elementary science department head Carolyn Collins previewed with students about the highly engaging activities that are planned for this week.
MCAS score reports & MCAS overview presentation
Parents of current 4th and 5th graders should be receiving MCAS score reports for their children through the mail by the beginning of this week. Also as a reminder, as part of the PTO meeting this Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 7 PM in the library, I will share an MCAS overview of the Hardy School MCAS results.
Bike to School Day
On Wednesday, we will have a Bike to School Day. Mr. Guzzi will be riding his own bike to school and plans to be positioned at Weston Road and MacArthur Road at 8:05 AM on this date and families are welcome to join Mr. Guzzi in biking to school. School Resource Officer Kathy Poirier will be positioned on Weston Road to help safely cross biking families.
Attention 4th grade parents
On Friday, we will have our next all school meeting led by our 4th graders. Parents are invited to the assembly, which will take place from 8:45-9:10 AM.
