Hello Hardy families,
*On Monday, we had a special School Spirit Day- Fun Hat Day. Students and staff wore some very fun hats to school.
*On Thursday, the Hardy School Council had our November meeting. As part of this meeting we started planning a STEAM based learning initiative tied to the new school building project. Stay tuned for updates on this initiative in future principal letters.
Calendar reminder
On Friday, we are off from school for Veterans Day. On this day we recognize and are thankful for the military veterans that have served our country.
Cradles to Crayons
Grade levels are collecting designated items for Cradles to Crayons. These are due to classrooms by this Thursday, November 10th. Here are the assigned items:
The assignments are as follows:
K- new children’s toothbrushes and new toothpaste
1- new/like new baby board books
2- new art supplies (any: markers, crayons, pencils, sharpeners, erasers)
3- new socks
4- new school supplies (any: notebooks, folders, activity and coloring books)
5- new soap
School Picture Retake Day
The school Picture Retake Day will take place on Monday, December 5th.
Stuffed animal to school day
This Thursday, we’ll have our next Spirit Day planned by our 5th graders. Students are invited to bring their favorite stuffed animal to school. These stuffed animals should be small enough that they can fit into a backpack.
