Dear Sprague Community,
I hope to see many of you at Sprague’s first Multicultural Night on Wednesday evening. We have about 15 families who have signed up to share information, customs, and traditions about their heritage countries. All Sprague families are invited to attend to celebrate our diverse heritage! We will have some short presentations and interesting display boards set up in the cafeteria between 6:00 and 6:30. (Students will not be permitted in the gym before 6:30) At 6:30, the gym doors will open and everyone can enjoy a presentation of flamenco dancing from Spain and Brazilian drumming from “Grooversity.” The evening will end by 7:30.
Many thanks to the Grade 5 committee, PTO leadership, 5th grade students, and members of the Teacher team for making last week’s Basketball Game a big success! Although the Teachers lost, their spirit was dominating! Students showed teamwork, sportsmanship, and patience as they worked together to play, put on a halftime show, and wait their turn—which was no small feat given the 82 students who ALL played! This was an evening where everybody won!
There is still time to sign up for After School Enrichment classes through the Recreation Dept. See class offerings below.
