Dear Sprague Community,

I am writing again this week with a brief update.

First, two reminders:

  1. Written Progress Reports will be sent home on Tuesday, February 7 due to a computer issue this week. Thanks for understanding.
  2. Tomorrow (Friday) is a Patriot’s Spirit Day in anticipation of Sunday’s Super Bowl game. All are invited to wear Pat’s gear, Sprague gear, something red, white, or blue or another favorite team jersey.

Second, we are looking for some ‘back up snowpants’ to keep in the nurse’s office for students to borrow if needed. If you have any outgrown snowpants that are in good condition, please consider donating them to us for this purpose. Thank you.

Lastly, please join me in welcoming Ms. Joanna Doyle to the Sprague community. Ms. Doyle will be filling in as the teacher in 3AR as Ms. Rogers goes on maternity leave. Ms. Doyle is an experienced teacher who is excited to join our school community. Although she hasn’t yet had the baby, Ms. Rogers is out on leave until the new one arrives and will stay out for the remainder of the school year. In other good news, our fabulous math coach, Heather Heon is also expecting her first baby soon (March) and our Friday Art teacher Sara Kess is expecting her first baby this spring as well. You might think I’m finished with the news, but no! There are more teachers with happy news. Ms. Herald (Gr. 2) is expecting her second baby in May, Ms. Bartelloni (Grade K) is expecting her first baby in July, and Mr. Craig (Grade 5) is expecting his first baby this spring as well! Lots of baby news!

Weekly update from Ms. Snyder–Feb. 2, 2017
