Dear Sprague Community,
As September comes to a close, I’d like to take a minute to talk a bit about our safe arrival procedures. We ask that parents call the school whenever a child will be absent. We keep track of these calls in the office and check our attendance each day. If there are students whose parents have not called and they are marked absent, we call to check to be sure they are home safe. It is extremely helpful if parents can call us first. As you can imagine, our school office can get quite busy in the mornings. As I have said in the past, we recommend car line for the safest option for drop off and pick up. When students use car line, they can enter and exit the vehicles right at our sidewalk. At dismissal time, they wait in the gym until the car is close to the pick up area.

Dates to remember:
Oct. 4: After school training for staff—all students must be off school property by 12:30 PM.
Oct. 9: No school—Columbus Day
Oct. 10: Tentative Date for Fall Festival—more info to follow
Oct. 12: PTO Meeting at 9:00 a.m.
Oct. 17: Walk to School Day
