Dear Sprague Community,

It’s not too late to consider CPK for dinner tonight. The 5thgrade fundraising committee is sponsoring an event in which Sprague gets money if YOU get food from California Pizza Kitchen today! You can also shop at Wellesley Books and use the attached coupon. A portion of proceeds come back to Sprague.

With just a few days left, we are grateful it hasn’t been too hot. Our air conditioning is still not fixed, so it’s been a bit warmer inside than we are accustomed to. It should be fully repaired for Summer programming.

Summer Math Fun!

Get ready to discover and do math all summer!  Just as students benefit from reading throughout the summer, regular practice with problem solving, computation, and math games will strengthen and maintain mathematical gains made during the school year. The goal is for your child to have fun thinking, working collaboratively and communicating their mathematical ideas. There are lots of great ways to bring math into your summer days!

Here are some suggested books, games, outdoor activities, and ways to engage your children in fun summer math.

From the Nurse:

6/11/2019

Dear 4thGrade Parents/Guardians,

This is a friendly reminder that I’m required to collect an updated physical exam for your student during the fourth-grade school year.   It is mandated by the Department of Public Health, and is included in the student handbook for your reference.

After your child’s next check-up, could you pleaseemail, fax, scan, or drop off a copy of their physical exam to my contacts below.

A physical examination dated 5/1/2019 – 6/1/2020 is acceptable

Thank you for your cooperation and have a wonderful summer!

Sincerely,

Christine Babicz

School Nurse

If you are interested, please click the link and signup for a week or two. Thank you for considering!!
