Hello Sprague,

I hope today brought many silver linings for everyone!  Through the many great pictures that are being shared, I have been able to identify many silver linings.  A picture says a thousand words.  Please keep the pictures coming as they are welcomed and something to look forward to.

You may or may not know this about me, but I am a huge animal lover and believe firmly in the power of an animal’s love, loyalty, and support.  Being a lifetime dog lover, I am so grateful for the unconditional love and support that my dog, Bear, has brought to me.

Having said this, I thought the below is so appropriate, makes perfect sense, and hopefully brings a smile to your face.  Thank you to Jill Heckman, grade four teacher, and Twitter for this smile:

Today’s Thoughts of a Dog

the small neighbor human, is home from school today. but instead of coming over. they’re putting notes against their window. i’m not the best reader. but it seems like they miss me. and we’ll be together again soon.

Please note the email communication from the Superintendent sent today, March 17th at 4:44 pm.  The following is a small excerpt from his email.  Of course, please review the message in its entirety.

On Friday, March 20th, the district plans to share remote learning resources for parents and students on the Wellesley Public Schools’ website. We will share more details of what this will entail on Thursday, March 19th.

As a result of the above, the Superintendent and I will be back with specific district plans on Thursday, March 19th.  As always, thank you for your patience.

In the meantime, please keep the pictures coming.

Respectfully,

Leigh
