Hello.  As the weather continues to brighten, so do our spirits!  I am sharing my good spirits with you all and wishing you a wonderful weekend. 

PreK-12 Remote Learning Webinar

Memorial Day Assembly

Principal Virtual Coffees

  • K, 1, and 2 families = Tuesday, June 9th at 6:00 pm

  • 3, 4, and 5 families = Wednesday, June 10th at 6:00 pm

  • Zoom links will be sent the day before the scheduled meeting

Theme Weeks 

  • Week of June 1st = “Fun in the Sun” wear sunglasses to your Zoom/Hangout sessions 

  • Week of June 8th = “Sprague Pride” wear t-shirts, hats, or other Sprague wear/could also change the background to Sprague building/grounds/wear red, white, and black (WPS’s colors) 

Fun and Games Week!

  • Normally it would be Field Day time

  • The Wellesley Elementary Fitness and Health Department would like to bring a version of Field Day to homes

  • Welcome to Fun and games Week – Week of June 8th

  • The Elementary Fitness and Health faculty is putting together a video that will be shared with all 7 school communities

  • The video, loaded into Seesaw and Google Classroom, will include demonstrations of each activity

  • Games chosen will require minimal equipment, maximum fun, and are appropriate for all elementary levels

  • These games can be played inside, outside, in a driveway, in a yard, at the beach…. you will decide what works best for you and for your family

  • Students/families can choose to play them over and over again!

Sprague Garden Help Needed, Please

  • Thank you to Margaret Flitsch, Tomoe Harrison, and the Sprague Garden Committee!

  • Families sign up to work for one week

  • Social distancing is required, need to be scheduled for every other day so that families will not overlap

  • Seedlings/seeds already planted and growing!

  • Work includes = watering, weeding, picking 

  • We will be collecting as much produce as we can throughout the summer to donate to local food banks to help with the pandemic disruptions
