Dear Sprague,
Hello. John Dewey once said, “We do not learn from experience, we learn from reflecting on the experience.” As a trying, yet invaluable, school year comes to a close, the Sprague staff and I have spent time and will continue to spend time reflecting on the experience. When reflecting on the year, I have come to the conclusion that it has been one of the most rewarding years of my career. These feelings exist for a myriad of reasons some of which include the students’ resilience and the support from families. What did not push us over the edge, made us stronger. The Sprague community might be the strongest in the nation. Congratulations!

Congratulations and Best Wishes
-
After twenty plus years, Sprague School is sending our love, admiration, and best wishes to Karen Lindquist (1KL)
-
It is with a very heavy heart that we say goodbye and good luck to Karen Lindquist as she pursues the next phase in her professional career – Assistant Principal
-
After twenty plus years as a classroom teacher of a variety of early elementary grade levels, Karen has spent the 2020-2021 school year not only readjusting her teaching practices and procedures due to COVID, without hesitation, she took on the pursuit of her leadership degree in order to achieve a professional goal in leadership – to say the least, Karen has been busy!
-
Please join me in wishing her nothing but the best as she leaves WPS and enters a leadership role, one that she is more than ready for, in the Maynard Public Schools – our loss is their great gain
-
I will say, Maynard is one lucky district!
-
Maynard will be receiving a leader that is talented, smart, effective, open minded, strategic and extremely passionate, and hard working
-
Karen, knock their socks off!
-
You will always have a home at Sprague!
-
Thank you for your years of dedication to hundreds of Sprague students and their families
