TODAY IS DAY 6
Tuesday, September 24th
The WMS Activity Fair will be held tomorrow, September 24th from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in the WMS Cafeteria. Students, this will give you a chance to look at all
of the different clubs and see which one you are interested in joining. Most activities meet once a week, Monday thru Thursday. Activities begin immediately
after school from 2:35 – 3:25 pm. Students, you are welcome to join as many clubs/activities as you can schedule in your week for the entire year.
Once you choose your club/clubs, and in order to participate in the after-school activities, students will have to present an activities card to the club advisor.
These cards can be purchased online through the WMS website. Go to the WMS website, then to “fee payment” and then to “MS/HS activity fees.”
The cost of the card is $150.00.
Thursday, September 26th
Back to School Night is this Thursday, September 26th from 6:30 – 9:30 pm. This is a chance for your parents/guardians to come and meet your teachers
and learn a little about the schedule, curriculum, homework & classroom expectations.
Friday, September 27th
Picture Day will be happening this Friday, September 27th out on the front lawn of WMS. If it rains, pictures will be taken in Gym A. All students should
have received a picture form in their homeroom. If you need a picture form, please stop by the Main Office to pick one up.
Please see the Sports Schedule on the Sports Board outside of the Main Office for today’s schedule.
INTRAMURALS TODAY: Fitness Center is open to 7th & 8th grade students only. Open Gym is open to all WMS students and is held in Gym B.
