Wellesley Police Department would like to remind students, as well as adults, that crossing Route 9 at Kingsbury Street without using the pedestrian light is extremely dangerous. For safety sake, please wait for the light to change before attempting to make your way across. For all road crossings, please be careful and conscious of all passing traffic.
The DEI Student Advisory Council will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28th after school in room 347 with Ms. Ayisi and Dr. Allen. The role of the DEI Council is to amplify student voices in the district’s efforts to develop an identity-safe multicultural community. New students are welcome to attend. We hope you can join us!
A reminder to all students that we are still accepting submissions for our Mini Marathon T-shirt contest. We are looking for 2 original designs – one for grade 6 & 7, and another for grade 8. Drop off your 8 ½ x 11” copy to the Main Office this week. The deadline for submissions is Friday, March 3rd.
Wednesday is an early release day. All teachers will be in a Faculty Meeting after school, so students must make arrangements to leave the building after the 11:30 bell.
8th graders: Your 9th grade course selection appointment schedules with counselors are posted outside of the Counseling Suite. Schedules will also be displayed on the monitor outside of the main office. Please take a look at your convenience and put your appointment on your calendar.
