Grade 6 students, your field trip is scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday next week. If you do not login to the WPS Fee Payment System to register for this trip, you will not be able to attend.
Grade 8 Community Service Day is Wednesday, May 3rd. All grade 8 students need to have their consent forms turned into their Advisory classrooms no later than Monday. Without parental consent, students will not be allowed to participate.
The DEI Student Advisory Council will meet Tuesday, May 2nd after school in Room 347 with Ms. Ayisi and Dr. Allen. The role of the DEI Council is to amplify student voices in the district’s efforts to develop an identity-safe multicultural community. New students are welcome to attend. We hope you can join us!
Reminder that due to electrical issues, the Kingsbury courtyard wing doors are not accessible with staff badges or for student transitions between periods until further notice. They will be unlocked at 7:30 for arrival only. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Today is the WMS annual Mini Marathon. When the bell rings for period 3, please go to Advisory to get instructions for the race. Students will be called down to the field by grade.
We would like to congratulate the artists who created our shirts for this year – Caitlin Bardorf designed the grade 8 t-shirt, and Julia Hartz designed the grade 6 & 7 t-shirt. Nice job! If there is any student who has not picked up their t-shirt, please come to the Main Office.
Best of luck to all our runners today, and thank you to our Fitness & Health staff for all their hard work to plan and execute this major event. Also, thank you to the many parent volunteers who help to make this day a great success. As you participate in the marathon today, please remember to say thank you for all their efforts.
