The Graphic Novel Book Club will be meeting today during all three lunches in Room 213.
Grade 8 students will be traveling to Wellesley High School next week. Consent forms, distributed in Advisory classes last week will need to be signed by a Parent or Guardian and brought back to school by this Friday, February 9th. No students will be allowed to go without a signed consent form.
The answer to yesterday’s Black History Month trivia question is Carter G. Woodson who first established Black Week in 1926. He chose the second week of February since it coincided with the birthdays of both Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass. It later became Black History Month.
Today’s trivia question is: How many Black civilian military veterans are in the U.S.?
If you think you know the answer, come down to the main office to submit your entry. Tomorrow, we will reveal the answer and ask a new question. Winners will be drawn at the end of the week.
