Attention 7th graders: Counselors will be teaching you a SEED lesson during Social Studies classes tomorrow, Wednesday, 9/11. Please see signs posted outside of your Social Studies classrooms that will tell you the room location.
Attention all 7th and 8th grade students interested in playing on WMS fall sports teams: there will be an informational meeting today at 2:30pm in the cafeteria.
The following sports will be offered at WMS this fall:
Girls and Boys Soccer – open to 7th & 8th graders
Field Hockey – open to 7th & 8th graders
Girls Volleyball – open to 8th Graders only
Mr. Brown, the Athletic Director for Wellesley Public Schools will be in attendance along with coaches from girls soccer and volleyball.
Attention all WMS students: do you get to school by 7:30? Are you interested in helping out and doing something fun? Please consider taking on the role as a pass deliverer. Pass deliverers report to the counseling suite in the morning, pick up passes and deliver them to classrooms. Please email or see your school counselor if you are interested.
Reminder: Before 7:40 all students need to report to their arrival zones by grade or in the cafeteria for breakfast only. No students should be in classrooms, hallways, stairwells or at lockers. All staff, please look outside your door and ensure that students are where they need to be. Let’s work toward consistency on this expectation.
On Thursday, September 12th, all staff in the building will participate in our annual safety training. All students must leave at the 2:29 dismissal, and not return to school until after 3:45 and only as approved by school administration.
