Best Buddies will be holding its first meeting today after school in the Faculty Dining Room (FDR).
The Video Announcement Club (VAC) is meeting today for its first session at 2:30 pm in Room 243.
The following clubs will also be meeting today after school: Chess Club, WMS Literary Magazine, and Debate Club. Please check the bulletin board next to the cafeteria and the WMS website for room locations.
Attention 8th graders: the Panorama Picture will be taken tomorrow at 1:00 pm. All 8th grade Advisors should look for colored index cards in your mailboxes this afternoon.
Attention all students: please hand in all orders for school pictures ASAP. Picture retake day will be on Tuesday, December, 10th.
Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community are celebrating this week? This week is the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The holiday begins this evening and will end on October 23rd. Sukkot is the week-long Harvest Festival that celebrates the gathering of the harvest. It also commemorates the Jews’ wandering in the desert after leaving slavery, as well as the protection provided for the children of Israel when they left Egypt. People celebrate Sukkot by eating and sleeping outdoors in a foliage-covered booth. We wish all people at WMS observing this holiday, Happy Sukkot.
