Any student who has not finished their MAP test should report directly to the cafeteria during Advisory time today. Please bring your iPad, pencil, take a seat and sign in immediately. Please check your email for more detailed instructions from Ms. Gentes.
Postural screening will be happening in all grades during PE classes today. If you are currently excused from PE for medical reasons, please report to the locker room during your PE block so we can make sure your screening is completed.
6th grade tutoring for students in the METCO program will take place right after school today. Please report directly to the library.
The bus to Boston will leave at 3:30 today. The late bus in Wellesley also leaves at 3:30. All students need to listen for the PA announcement for their departure from WMS.
Due to a pipe burst and heating issue, no one should be passing outdoors today between periods, especially through the Kingsbury doors.
Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community will be celebrating tomorrow? Tomorrow is the holiday of Lunar New Year and welcomes the Year of the Snake. Lunar New Year is the most celebrated holiday in China, Korea and eastern, and southeastern Asian countries. The holiday includes family-centered activities such as having a New Years Eve Feast, staying up on New Years Eve, visiting family and friends, eating special foods, and paying respect to ancestors. In some countries the celebration lasts for 2 weeks and ends on the 15th day of the New Year. We wish all people at WMS observing this holiday, Happy New Year!
