The Graphic Novel Book Club will be meeting today during all three lunches in Room 219.
Our Lunar New Year festival is here – join us today after school in the cafeteria to learn about this holiday and the many cultures that celebrate it. Here’s what you need to know:

As you walk into the cafeteria, pick up a passport from one of the adults by the door. You’ll need it to play games, win prizes, and (of course) get into the tasting line.

Before you start any activities, please drop off your backpack in one of our two bag zones, located on either side of the salad bar by the lunch checkout line.

As you join in the fun, remember: you’re still at school! Our expectations for you remain the same – wait your turn, follow directions, be kind and supportive of our student performers, and don’t forget to say “thank you” to all the people who volunteered today to make this event fun for you.

The Puzzle Club will meet on Thursday after school this week instead of Tuesday. New members are welcome!
There will be no tutoring for 6th graders in the METCO program today after school due to the Lunar New Year Celebration.
The bus to Boston will leave at 3:30 today. The late bus in Wellesley also leaves at 3:30. All students need to listen for the PA announcement for their departure from WMS.
Anyone interested in signing up for the WMS Fencing Program this spring can pick up a sign-up form on the intramural board outside the cafeteria or in the main office. All forms need to be turned into Mr. Johnson no later than March 20th. Any questions, please see Mr. Johnson.
The answer to yesterday’s Black History Month trivia question is Black History month was first celebrated in 1926. Today’s trivia question is: Which President officially recognized Black History Month? If you think you know the answer, come down to the main office to make your guess.
