MCAS Session II for ELA is today for all grades. At this time all students should be in Advisory. The testing period will last from approximately 7:45 – 10:30 a.m. No iPads should be used outside of the test itself. Time outside of the classroom should be kept to an absolute minimum. No more than one student should leave the classroom at a time. All MCAS facilitators should use their discretion when determining the need to leave. Bells will be turned off all day and periods will be called over the PA system. MCAS is used to support individual growth and school improvement. It is important that all students take the test with their very best effort.
There is a Faculty Meeting after school today. All students must plan to leave the building immediately at the 2:29 dismissal bell. There will be no afternoon activities and therefore no Boston or Wellesley late buses. There will be no 8th grade tutoring for students in Ms. Moore’s tutoring program. The library will also be closed after school. Students who are called for Soundscapes rehearsal should still go to the Auditorium right after school and must remain there with Ms. Speed for the entire time.
