We have decided to open live auditions for our Grade 8 Completion Assembly this year. We will be holding auditions next Wednesday, June 11th from 2:40 – 3:15 pm in the Auditorium for interested 8th grade students. If you have already submitted a video, we ask that you sign up for a live audition. All others, please sign up in the Main Office for an audition slot. If you are interested, but you have concerns and/or conflicts with the date, please let us know. Come prepared to perform your song, artistic performance, and/or musical instrument. If you have questions, see Ms. Connors, Mr. Adams, or the Main Office.
All books are due back to the library today. If you think you know how many books will still be checked out at the end of the day today, come by the library and take a guess. The closest guess in each grade will win a prize!
Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community will be celebrating starting today? It is the Muslim holiday of Eid al Adha. Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most important holidays in Islam. It commemorates the story of the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), who showed great faith and devotion to God. The holiday is marked by special prayers, sharing meals with family and friends, and giving to those in need. We wish all people at WMS observing this holiday “Eid Mubarak.”
Today is the final day for clubs and intramurals after school.
8th grade students in Ms. Moore’s tutoring program, please report directly to the library after school today.
The bus to Boston will leave at 3:30 today. The late bus in Wellesley also leaves at 3:30. All students need to listen for the PA announcements for their departure from WMS.
