Congratulations to Brooks Berger for correctly answering the Library Question of the Week: “Who was the first woman to fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean?” The answer is Amelia Earhart. Great job, Brooks. Please come to the library to claim your prize. There’ll be another chance to win next week!”

Attention 8th graders: We are looking for 8th grade tour guides for the Grade 5 Parent/Guardian Orientation on Tuesday night, March 24th between 6:30-8:30 pm. It’s a great opportunity for you to welcome new families to WMS and share your experiences.  If you are interested, please come down to the main office and submit your name for consideration.

We are looking for student t-shirt designs for our Grade 8 end-of-year activities. Please submit a design on an 8-½” by 11” sheet of paper to the Main Office no later than next Friday, March 13th. If you have questions please speak with your Art teacher or the Main Office staff.

Sign-ups are still open for the WMS fencing program this spring. You can pick up a sign-up form on the intramural board or in the Main Office. All forms need to be turned into Mr Johnson no later than March 19th.  Any questions, please see Mr. Johnson.

There will be no 3:30 pm bus to Boston today. All students riding to Boston will be taking the 2:30 pm bus. The late bus in Wellesley will leave at 3:30 pm.

Have a good day everyone!

Please note that the daily announcements are sometimes subject to change during the school day. When this happens the announcements will be updated on the website and on the video screen in the WMS lobby, but a new email will not be sent.
