TODAY IS DAY 6
*8TH Graders: Your year-end field trip will be a Boston Scavenger Hunt on Wednesday, June 12 (Teams M & W) or Thursday, June 13 (Team
S & WMS). Consent Forms including more information on the trip will be coming home this week. Please have your parent/guardian sign the
form and bring it in to your homeroom teacher by Friday, June 7th. No student will be allowed to attend without this form signed by a parent or guardian.
*8th Graders: Please join us this Friday, May 31st beginning at 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm in the WMS cafeteria for your 8th Grade dance. Entry & check-in to this event
will be at the Kingsbury Street entrance. The 8th grade students will get wristbands in their homeroom on Friday that will serve as their ticket. While many kids choose to
dress up for this event, no formal/semi-formal attire is required. As with all dances, this event is for WMS students only.
6TH & 7TH Graders will also have a school dance this Friday. Admission is $5.00 and you will pay/enter at the Donizetti Street entrance to the school. Your dance will
be held in Gym A.
BOTH events will be kept completely separate from one another. As already mentioned, these year-end dances are only open to WMS students. No guests will be
allowed. Students, if you leave the school for any reason, you will not be allowed back in. Also, a parent/guardian must pick you up after the dance.
*Yearbooks are almost sold out! The cost of the yearbook is $33.00, hard-bound and contains 120 full-color photos. NOTE: 8TH graders do not
receive free yearbooks as part of your year-end activities package. To order, go to www.coffeepond.com. Under “Yearbook program”, click “Yearbook order”
and enter school password, “raiders.”
*There will be an extra SongLab after school this Thursday from 2:30 – 3:30 pm in room 400. We will play “Good old Days” by Macklemore &
Kesha. Please bring an instrument and jam with us!
INTRAMURALS TODAY: Jr. Moving Company will be held in room 204, Open Gym is in Gym B and the Fitness Center is open to all.
