Back to School Night for parents/guardians is tonight.
Back to School Night is tonight from 6:30 – 9:00 pm. This event is for parents/guardians only as this is a chance for your parents/guardians to come and meet your teachers and learn a little about the schedule, curriculum, homework & classroom expectations.
The Math Team will meet after school today in Mr. Bogage’s room, room 308. You are welcome to attend even if you didn’t sign up already at the Activities
Fair. Hope to see you there!
BRCC homework and tutoring program will not run today, due to Back to School Night. We will see you next week!
Friday, September 27th
Picture Day will be happening tomorrow out on the front lawn of WMS. If it rains, pictures will be taken in Gym A. All students should have received a picture form
in their homeroom. If you need a picture form, please ask your homeroom teacher for a copy. You can also fill out the order form online.
Please go to www.coffeepond.com. Click “order school portraits”, type in city and school name and then enter your order.
Monday, September 30th
WMS will be closed on Monday, September 30th in observance of Rosh Hashanah.
Tuesday, October 1st
The WMS Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA) will have its first meeting on Tuesday, October 1st! The GSA is a lunch club for students who identify as
LGBTQ, have LGBTQ family members, or for students who wish to be allies to their LGBTQ friends and peers. GSA will meet on Tuesdays, in Room 203 during
all three lunches. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Hannon or Ms. Gabrielson.
Please see the Sports Schedule on the Sports Board outside of the Main Office for today’s schedule.
INTRAMURALS TODAY: Fitness Center is open to 7th & 8th grade students only. Open Gym is open to all WMS students and is held in Gym B.
