The results are in, and our brain surgeon, Alexa Canady, took the Historical Heroes crown, defeating inventor Nina Tandon, 55% to 45%. Thanks to all the students and teachers who played along and look for a new theme/contest next spring!

~Track practices will be starting next Monday 4/11 from 3:00-4:00 at the High School Track!

PLEASE double-check that you have registered AND have an updated physical on file with the nurses or you will not be able to practice.

Check google classroom for practice updates!

~Reminder to those who require it, MCAS makeup testing will be held tomorrow

~This year’s Day of Silence has been scheduled for Friday, April 8th. WMS’ Gay- Straight Alliance sponsors the Day of Silence, a day to recognize the silencing of the LGBTQ community in our society. Students who choose to participate remain silent all day to show their support. Participation forms are available in the Main Office and outside the cafeteria at lunch.

~Today is an early release day. Periods will run 1-7 with no advisory. Students need to leave the building when the final bell rings. Teachers will be in meetings and unavailable to meet with students.  For those students heading downtown please remember to be considerate and mindful as you visit shops and restaurants.  Which means not crowding patrons when others are shopping and cleaning up after yourselves when finished eating. Also, throw away all trash so as not to litter the street. It’s important as you are representing yourself and all of us at Wellesley Middle School.

Have a good day Everyone!!
