~Day 3

Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community will be celebrating starting this weekend?  Sunday night begins the 8 day Jewish holiday of Hanukkah.

Hanukkah is the Jewish festival of rededication, also known as the Festival of Lights. Jewish people celebrate the holiday by lighting candles, eating traditional fried foods and spending time with family.  It has become a custom of some Jews in the United States to also get gifts on the holiday.

There are students and faculty at WMS who will be observing Hanukkah.  We wish all people at WMS observing this holiday, Happy Hanukkah!

Students who are called back for Fiddler on the Roof should please report to the auditorium right after school

Don’t forget to check out the lost & found.  We will be donating clothing over the holiday break.

Have a great day!
