Congratulations to our WMS participants in the Wellesley Education Foundation Spelling Bee that took place last night. Our 8th grade student team was Grace Zhao, Secil Uluderya, and Quinn Burke. Although our teams did not win, our teacher team, Ms. Cannell, Ms. Sciera, and Mr. Bourn won the Spirit Award dressed as Sponge Bob Spell Pants. It’s always a fun community event that raises money to improve our schools.
There will be an informational meeting for students interested in joining the WMS Track and Field team today at 2:45 in the Cafeteria. Track and Field is open to all students in all grades. We hope to see you there!
