Are you curious about what some people in our WMS community will be celebrating starting this evening? Tonight begins the 8 day Jewish holiday of Hanukkah. Hanukkah is the Jewish festival of rededication, also known as the Festival of Lights. Jewish people celebrate the holiday by lighting candles, eating traditional fried foods, and spending time with family. It has become a custom of some Jewish people in the United States to also get gifts on Hanukkah. There are students and faculty at WMS who will be observing Hanukkah. We wish all people at WMS observing this holiday, Happy Hanukkah!
Anastasia tickets are available for purchase! Tickets are $10.00 each and seating is assigned. Performances begin this afternoon at 4:30, Friday December 8th at 7:00, and Saturday December 9th at 2:00 and 7:00. There will be concessions sold during the intermissions, and it is cash only. Please bring refillable water bottles to performances as no water will be sold. Tickets can be purchased online on the WPS Performing Arts website.
