Congratulations to the Science Olympiad Team who competed at the state tournament this past Saturday. Many of our student scientists were awarded ribbons and medals for their hard work. We are proud of you for your teamwork, hooray for science! There will be practice after school today.
8th Graders: This is a reminder that if you have already had your appointment with your school counselor, complete your course selections online no later than Friday.
If you are fasting for Ramadan and want an alternative space to fast during lunch instead of being in the cafeteria, the following spaces are available:
Grade 6 – Room 309
Grade 7 – Room 226
Grade 8 – Room 207
These rooms will be available every day during lunch for the month of Ramadan.
Attention 8th graders: We are looking for 8th grade tour guides for the 5th grade parent/guardian WMS orientation on Tuesday night, March 26th between 6:30-8pm. It’s a great opportunity for you to welcome new families to WMS and share your experiences. If you are interested, please come down to the main office and submit your name for consideration.
Tennis anyone? The WMS tennis team is open to any 8th graders interested. There will be an informational meeting this Wednesday in Room 231 with Mr. Crowe. Attendance is mandatory if you hope to play.
