There will be a late bus to Boston today. All students from Boston will need to take the 3:30 pm bus.
All 8th grade girls interested in playing on the WMS Girls Basketball Team this winter, there will be an informational meeting today right after school in the cafeteria with Coach Miller.
On Sunday the WMS 8th Grade Chorus performed for over 4,000 hockey fans, singing “God Bless America” on the ice before the start of the game. Congratulations to the singers on an excellent performance and we look forward to your concerts in December.
The WMS musical, Shrek, Jr. opens this week. Tickets are now available for purchasing on our Performing Arts website: wellesleyps.org/performingarts. Tickets are $10.00. There are 4 performances and two lead casts! The Fairytale cast will perform on Thursday, November 21st at 4:30 pm and Saturday November 23rd at 7:00 pm. The Storybook cast will perform on Friday, November 22nd at 7:00 pm and Saturday November 23rd at 2:00 pm. All cast members perform in all four shows. The show is 90 minutes long and there will be an intermission where snacks and drinks are sold, cash only. If you are purchasing tickets and do not plan to sit with an adult, you will be required to sit in a designated student section. Out of respect for the performance, all students attending are expected to follow student conduct policies as outlined in our WMS Student Handbook 2024-25.
