7th graders: Counselors will be teaching a lesson in your Social Studies classes on Tuesday, September 30th. The lesson will include a time to discuss the transition to grade 7 and how to make it a successful year. Please check signs posted outside of your Social Studies classroom for room assignments.
All students: Test your knowledge and answer the Library Question of the Week for a chance to win a prize! This week’s question is: “What is the hottest planet in our solar system?” Scan the barcode outside the library bulletin board to enter. The winner will be announced on Friday!
Reminder: The Student Activities Fair will be tomorrow right after school at 2:30 pm. Please come to the Cafeteria and learn about clubs and intramurals. Please bring your iPad to sign up on the QR code. Clubs and intramurals start the week of October 6th and run through next May.
This afternoon all adults in the building will participate in our annual safety training. All students must leave at the 2:29 dismissal bell, and not return to school until after 4:00 pm and only as approved by school administration. This includes the cast of Something Rotten, Jr. There will be no 3:30 pm buses to Boston or in Wellesley this afternoon. All those riding the bus must take the 2:30 pm bus.
The library will be closed after school today.
The First Lego League practice is canceled after school today.
Have a good day everyone!
Please note that the daily announcements are sometimes subject to change during the school day. When this happens the announcements will be updated on the website and on the video screen in the WMS lobby, but a new email will not be sent.
