Hello Hardy families,

Highlights from the past week:

*In conjunction with the St. Patrick’s Day holiday this past week, students had the opportunity to look for hidden shamrocks and pots of gold during recess.

*On Wednesday, we had a special CAS program – Ball in the House. Students enjoyed hearing a cross-section of music that included R&B, pop, rap, and reggae, along with hearing an encouraging message about working in harmony and pursuing your interests.

Social Emotional Learning support at Hardy

Hello Hardy Families,

My name is Julie McMenamy and I am the Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor at Hardy School. I have been enjoying the opportunity to get to know many of your children throughout the year so far. I wanted to remind you all that I am available to support all Hardy students around their social emotional needs both inside the classroom and out. If you have any concerns or questions or would like to share any information with us about your child’s social emotional well being, please reach out to me by email at mcmenamyj@wellesleyps.org.

Save the date- Hardy Groundbreaking

On Thursday, April 6th at 9:00 AM, we will be having the groundbreaking for the new Hardy School. Parents are invited. This will take place outdoors at the end of Hardy Road. Parents are encouraged to walk to the event or park on nearby streets. This will be standing room or bring your own camp chair seating only. We look forward to celebrating the groundbreaking of the new Hardy School!

Favorite Character Day

We will have another fifth grade planned Spirit Day this upcoming Friday – Favorite Character Day. Students are invited to dress like their favorite book, TV, or movie character.

Have a great week!
