Schofield School
Go Hawks
Dear Schofield Families,
We had a great week at Schofield with some wonderfully engaging enrichment opportunities for our students. On Thursday, our first graders battled the rain to visit the Natick Community Organic Farm. And today, our third graders examined butterflies collected by the Denton family of Wellesley in the 19th century. They were excited to show me how butterflies camouflage themselves, an adaptation they have been learning about in science. Lastly, our kindergarteners enjoyed the Birds of Prey program where they learned about how owls camouflage. These programs wouldn’t be possible without the support of our PTO.

Recorder Extravaganza
The third graders Recorder Extravaganza this week was a resounding success! Thank you to all of the families who attended. Under the expert direction of Mr. Polletto, students performed a variety of pieces demonstrating their dedication and musical growth through the school year. Bravo third graders!
Last Day of School
For your planning purposes, please note that the last day of school is scheduled for Thursday, June 13th. Our last day of school will be an early release day with dismissal at 12:00PM. Wednesday, June 12th, on the other hand, will be a FULL day of school with dismissal at 3:05. Please take a moment to update your child’s plan in PickUp Patrol as I know the end of the school year can get awfully busy.
WPS STEAM Night is Monday! Here’s the link to the flier: WPS STEAM Family Night
