Schofield School

Go Hawks

Dear Schofield Community,

Thank you to all of the parents and caregivers who came to Back to School Night on Thursday.  It was wonderful to connect, share our vision for the year, and give you a glimpse of the amazing work your children will be doing.  Our strong partnership is key to the success of our students. I look forward to working together to make this school year a rewarding and enriching experience for all.

A highlight of my week was hearing from students about what makes Schofield so special.  It was wonderful to be able to capture their sentiments which says so much about our dedicated staff.  Click here for the video that was shared with families on Thursday night.  I promise I didn’t tell them what to say.

Staying Connected:
We hope you will stay connected and engaged throughout the year and there are numerous ways to do so:

  • Social Media: We hope you will follow us on Facebook to get a glimpse into what’s happening at Schofield each week.  Important information will continue to be shared through School Messenger.

  • Hawk Talks:  Join me for coffee at one of our upcoming Hawk Talks.  The next one is Friday, September 27th at 8:45AM in the Schofield Library.  We will be talking about how the return to school has been and I’m curious to hear feedback if you can make it!  If you can’t, please feel free to email your thoughts.

  • Site Council Position:  If you are interested in joining the School Site Council, please email a letter of interest to SchofieldPTO@gmail.com by Friday, September 27th. In your letter, share why you would like to serve, what type of experience you could bring to the Site Council and how you hope to contribute.  These letters would be shared publicly if more than one parent/caregiver applies and an election is needed.

  • Text Message Reminders:  Interested in receiving text message reminders about school events, spirit days, field trips and more?  Opt in by texting the below message associated with your child(ren)’s graduating class to the number 81010.   I will use this only for reminders and will continue to share important information through School Messenger. Standard text messaging rates will apply.  If you have already signed up previously, you are all set!
