Dear Families –
Back to School Night is next Thursday, October 9th. I wanted to put on everyone’s radar that the purpose of this night is for caregivers to get to know their children’s teachers a little bit and maybe learn something important about the class. Hopefully your kids have already been talking about their classes at home (if not, I encourage you to ask them). It will be nice for you to connect the face with the name.
The high school will be buzzing with literally thousands of people that night, and it isn’t the right time to get much information at all about your child’s performance. That is definitely better handled with a followup meeting with the teacher if you’d like to have a longer conversation. All the teachers will be sharing their contact information with you that night. Thanks for understanding.
