Dear Families,

Please disregard previous email – this message is in regards to the Playoff Game this Friday, November 22

Today we’re writing to you with some specific information about this Friday night’s playoff football game against Catholic Memorial High School.  The game is being played at a neutral site, Weston High School, at 6 pm under the lights.

On Monday, we held a planning meeting with the administration from Catholic Memorial and the Athletic Director from Weston High School and we have partnered with them to create the following guidance for the game on the 22nd.

We are asking all the Wellesley fans to park at Weston Middle School.  There will be a Weston Police officer detail there to direct you to the lot. This parking lot is equally as close to the field as the high school lot and will allow you to enter on the visitors’ side of the field. (Wellesley is the visiting team as a result of being the lower seed).  Wellesley students should go to this side of the field.  No one is allowed inside the chain link fence except school personnel and officials.  In this way, the setup is similar to the one we have at our field Wellesley.

The Catholic Memorial fans will park in the high school parking lot and walk up to the field past the pond to the area behind the home sidelines.

Since this is an MIAA tournament event there will be an admission charge. Tickets must be purchased ahead of time from GoFan. Tickets are $11.50 general admission.  https://gofan.co/event/2280241?schoolId=MA14768. There will be a separate table set up for admission for the Wellesley fans entering from the Middle School parking lot.

Finally, I want to take a moment to just reflect on what an exciting opportunity it is for our team, both teams really, to be on the field at this level.  The excitement is about the players and about the competition.  I want to encourage everyone to keep their cheering focused on supporting our players because that’s what they deserve. Please keep in mind that the following are not allowed at MIAA Events – horns, noisemakers, cowbells, posters, signs, confetti, pom poms, balloons, spirit towels, thunder sticks and banners. For further clarification, please see the

MIAA Taunting Policy document as a reminder of the behavior expectations for the event.

We thank you in advance for your cooperation, and we look forward to a great game.

Good Luck Raiders!

Best,

Jamie
