Morning Announcements for Wednesday, May 10
TODAY IS DAY 4
* Grade 6 Math MCAS today, which will run Periods 1 – 3+. Bells will be turned off until after MCAS is over.
* Attention 7th grade chorus members, you may pick up your chorus trip t-shirt before lunch or after school today.
* Please come see The Lion King, Jr. this week, starring 7th and 8th grade WMS students! You can buy a ticket for $8 online! There will be concessions sold before each show and during intermissions. There will be a surprise teacher hiding behind one of our largest animals! Performances are Thursday at 4:30, Friday at 7:00 and Saturday at 2:00 and 7:00.
* 8th grade students: Today, STARS is sponsoring an 8th grade pizza lunch in Mr. Chute’s room, room 234, where they will discuss race and stereotypes. Please sign up this morning in the main office this morning or see Mr. Chute, Mr. Craft or Ms. Hannon for a pass to attend.
* 8th grade students who were chosen to be tour guide leaders during the 5th grade visits – the last day to make switches on the schedule is this Friday. Please review the tour guide chart in the cafeteria today to see the date that you are tour leader. If this date does not work with your schedule, please let Mrs. Gemme in the main office know as soon as possible.
* Basket raffle to benefit the French Club’s trip to Quebec in the fall has ended. The winners of the baskets will be announced tomorrow.
* Improv Club is cancelled today.
* INTRAMURALS today: Yoga in Gym A, Open Gym in Gym B and the Fitness Center is open.
