Morning Announcements for Wednesday, December 13, 2017
TODAY IS DAY 2
Just a reminder: Tomorrow is a Day of Silence for those who signed up to do so. Forms are available in the main office and these forms must also be signed by your teacher.
- For students who have signed up to take part, you need to bring your signed sheet and your donation (though not required) to the cafeteria before school tomorrow. You will receive a bracelet and info card.
- For those of you who want to show support but can’t imagine being silent, you can still contribute money (which goes to the Home for Little Wanderers’ Waltham House–a house for LGBTQ teens), and receive a rainbow pin or sticker, also in the cafeteria tomorrow morning.
- The “Breaking the Silence” party will be munchkins in Ms. Bennett’s room at 7:30 on Friday–since we can’t do it after school.
JAZZ BAND CONCERT TONIGHT!
The WMS Winter Jazz Night Concert is tonight at 7:00 p.m. in the WMS auditorium. Come hear your talented classmates perform some awesome music! Hope you can make it!
Hot Chocolate Social
Monday after school there will be a hot chocolate social for all 8th grade students attending the Civil Rights Trip in room 229 from 2:30 – 3:15! Come meet the other students going, and the teachers leading the trip. Even if you are involved in sports practice on Monday, stop by for a quick treat! from 2:30- 3:15 in Room 229. See you there!
Upcoming Days off
WMS will be closed from Monday, December 25th through Monday, January 1st. The
school will reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd.
