Morning Announcements for Tuesday, January 9, 2018
TODAY IS DAY 3
Tomorrow (Wednesday) is an Early Release Day. Please do not bring your iPads to school tomorrow.
Periods will run 1, 5, 6 & 7. All students must leave the building after the bell and there are no after school activities. If there is a basketball game or practice, you will be allowed
back in the building at 3:30.
The Graphic Novel Book Club meets today! 6th graders will be meeting in room 329 from 11:52 – 12:17 p.m. 7th graders will be meeting in room 338 from 11:23 – 11:48 a.m.
Please bring your book from last month’s meeting to this meeting. They will be bringing books for you, also
The Tenacity Challenge Club will meet today RIGHT after school in Ms. Marquedant’s room (Room 319). Our special guests will be the winners from last year’s high
school Tenacity Challenge – come hear about the experiences in the Tenacity Challenge competition. Your attendance is required! Please be prompt so we can get started as
soon as possible.
Science Olympiad will meet today in room 101. Please come down quickly, bring your iPad, notebook and a snack!
The Gay Straight Alliance will be meeting today during all three lunches in room 351. Come join us!
How are you at solving a Rubik’s Cube? If that is something you like to do, then please consider joining the WMS Rubik’s Cube Team! The first competition is on January 20.
Students may compete individually or as a part of an 8-person team. If interested, please see Ms. Connor in room 321 for more details.
