Morning Announcements for Tuesday, January 23, 2018

TODAY IS DAY 6

S.T.A.R.S., which stands for Student Talking About Race Skillfully, is proud to announce its first annual Film Festival on Wednesday, January 31st after school from 2:25-3:25 in room 234. 

All students are welcomed to attend, and interested folks should RSVP with either Ms. Hannon, Mr. Craft, or Mr. Chute.  See you next Wednesday!

8th Grade Civil Rights Trip Participants: Next Monday, January 29th from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. in room 229 is the first official after school meeting. Please see Mrs. Coffey or Mrs. Gabrielson

if you have any questions or if you will be unable to attend.

Congratulations to the Rubik’s Cube Team.  At this weekend’s competition, they completed 25 cubes in exactly 5 minutes, beating their own personal best time by 1 minute and 14 seconds. 

Willy Wang, Tyler Dravenstott and Fiona Lloyd were among the top scorers statewide in their individual events. Our next competition will be on March 1st and any interested students should see

Ms. Connor in 321.  Our next club meeting is tomorrow after school.

The Tenacity Challenge Club will meet right after school in Ms. Marquedant’s room (room 319) today. See you then!

LOST & FOUND

Please check the tables in the cafeteria for any lost clothing, lunch bags, gloves or hats that you may have lost. After today, the items will be donated to charity.

Basketball games today: Please see the board outside of the main office for locations and times for today’s games.

INTRAMURALS:

Adapted Sports program is in Gym A

Open Gym is in Gym B and the Fitness Center is open to all.
