TODAY IS DAY 2
* Today will be Grade 8 STE MCAS during periods 1, 5 & 6.
8th grade periods today run 1, 5, 6, 4, 2, 3 & 7
Grades 6 & 7 periods will run a normal day: 1 – 7.
* Houses S & R are having their 3rd Annual REMMY award ceremony in the auditorium. It’s a ton of fun as different teams have the opportunity to walk the red carpet and potentially receive REMMY awards in recognition of work done related to investigative journalism and religion. Teachers, please stop by the auditorium if you can – it runs from 8:10 – 9:30 this morning.
* Congratulations to the 7th grade chorus on earning a rating of “Excellent” at their chorus competition on Friday. They will use the judge’s feedback to improve their songs for the home concert in June.
* Students: Don’t forget to order your WMS 2017-2018 yearbook! The cost is $37.00 if ordered by the end of the month. The yearbook contains 120 full color pages. Please go to www.coffeepond.com and use the password “Raiders.”
*Rubik’s Cube Team: Congratulations to the Rubik’s Cube Team who placed first at a tournament in Medford this weekend. The team of eight
WMS students solved 25 cubes in just 3 minutes and 36 seconds! Their
New fastest time!
Tyler Dravenstott and Guarav Capila both also placed individually, and Willy Wang won first place in both the 3 X 3 and 2 X 2 competitions.
